Their Story

Jarrod and Courtnee met through mutual friends just over 11 years ago. They have spent these last 11 years going on adventures, moving from Douglas County to Elbert County, raising their two children, Chloee and Rhett, and finding ways to keep their chaos going. Courtnee is a teacher here in the community, and Jarrod proudly serves as a firefighter in Larkspur. Their kids attend school right here in Elizabeth, so this town isn’t just where they live — it’s truly their home

This place already means so much to the community, and they want you to know that their goal is to keep everything you love about it exactly the same—the welcoming atmosphere, the friendly faces, and the strong sense of community that makes this shop so special. they’re not here to change its heart, but to carry it forward. It’s important to them that this continues to be a place where friends gather, families make memories, and everyone feels right at home.

They’re also excited to support their daughter in chasing her dream of owning a bakery by expanding her passion project, Chloee’s Cakeree, through the shop. They look forward to sharing some of her creations with all of you!
